YOUR INFORMATION, HANDLED WITH CARE

Privacy notice

Updated 13 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-13

This notice covers reader-community registrations for The Essential Craft Series. Responsible operator: operator details will be published before registration opens.

What we collect

We collect your first name, email address and primary craft interest. You may also provide other craft interests, country, reading format, experience level and interest in advance copies. We record your consent choices, submission time and the version of the privacy and consent text. We don’t ask for Amazon profiles, review evidence or payment details.

Why we use it

We use registration details to administer the community, acknowledge your registration and manage reading preferences. Only people who explicitly opt in and confirm their subscription receive marketing announcements and future reader-invitation campaigns. Joining or receiving a copy never requires a review.

Services and international processing

Tally hosts the registration form. Cloudflare hosts this site and our registration database. Brevo processes registration acknowledgements and, where opted in, subscriber records and email campaigns. These providers may process information outside your country. Review their privacy information: Tally, Cloudflare and Brevo. We don’t sell your details.

Your choices and requests

Marketing consent is optional. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message to stop those emails. To access, correct, delete or withdraw your community registration, contact the contact address that will be published before registration opens. Unsubscribing stops marketing; it does not automatically delete registration or consent records. We retain a minimal suppression record where needed to respect your opt-out.

Retention and security

We review inactive registrations after 24 months and remove information no longer needed, except minimal consent or suppression records needed to respect choices and address complaints. Access is limited to the operator and service providers. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Technical information

This website has no added advertising analytics. Cloudflare and embedded Tally services may process technical information such as IP addresses for delivery, security and spam prevention. Third-party forms may use their own storage and cookies. We don’t intentionally collect registrations from children under 18; please register only if you are 18 or older.

Questions or complaints

Contact the operator using the address above. If a concern remains unresolved, you may also contact the privacy regulator in your jurisdiction. We may update this notice and will use the version applicable when you registered for consent records.
